Bow Round-up for 2003
The annual ATA trade show was held in Indianapolis, Indiana in late January. As usual, the various bow manufacturers used this show to introduce many new bows to the archery industry. The following is a brief synopsis of some of the new bows for 2003.
Archery Research—This new company is based in Tucson and was very well received by all reports coming from the show. They offer three top-of-the-line bows for 2003: the AR 31, the AR 34, and the A4 37. The most noticeable characteristic of this line of bows is the “hollow” riser featured on all bows. Alpine Archery—Alpine has introduced their new, VX series risers featuring Bi-Polar dampening. This unique mounting at the ends of the riser reduces hand shock, recoil and vibration. Bow Tech—This company has been competing at the top-of-the-line for several years and have added another high-grade bow to their complete line. Mathews Solocam—One of the most anticipated events at the annual show is the introduction of the new Mathews bows for the year. PSE—Precision Shooting Equipment of Tucson is a well-known bow manufacturer and continues with innovative products for 2003.
