Game Stew

• 12 red potatoes, halved

• 1 lb. Carrots cut into 1 inch pieces

• 1 large onion, cut into wedges

• 2 lbs. Stew meat

• 2 cup butter

• 1 Tbsp. Flour

• 1 cup water

• 1 tsp. Salt

• 1 tsp. Parsley

• 2 tsp. Celery seed

• 1/8 tsp. Pepper

Place potatoes, carrots, and onion in slow cooker. Melt butter in skillet and brown the stew meat. Transfer meat to slow cooker leaving the drippings in skillet. Stir flour into drippings until blended, cook and stir until browned. Gradually add water, bring to a boil for a couple minutes, until thickened. Add salt, pepper, parsley and celery seed then pour into slow cooker. Cook low 8 hours.
