Javelina Jambalaya

  • 3 cups uncooked long grain rice

  • 3 tablespoons dried minced onion

  • 3 tablespoons dried parsley flakes

  • 1 tablespoon dried minced chives

  • 1 tablespoon dried celery flakes

  • 4 teaspoons beef bouillon granules

  • 2 teaspoons pepper

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

 Mix together rice and seasonings. In a saucepan, bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Stir in rice mixture, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.

  •  2 pounds of javelina sausage (I prefer Cajun flavor)

  • 3- 8 ounce cans of tomato sauce

 Brown javelina sausage, add tomato sauce,  simmer 10 minutes. Serve over rice mixture.
