Alamo Lake Clean-up Day

The annual Alamo Lake Clean-up Day is scheduled for March 3^rd, 2001. Registration begins Friday, March 2^nd, at the Group Use Area of the Cholla Campground beginning at 6:00 p.m. The clean-up will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and run until 3:00 p.m. The Arizona State Parks will be waiving the camping and boat launch fees for all who participate. Come out early and stay an extra day if you’d like, all you need to do is participate in the clean-up. All boaters and non-boaters will be collecting trash along the shorelines and transferring it to an Az. Game and Fish pontoon boat that will take it from there. There will be food and door prizes available for this event.
