“Big Fish” Open Tournaments

                On Wednesday and Friday nights, Fisherman’s Choice along with Waterdog Willies, are once again sponsoring “Big Fish” open tournaments at Lake Pleasant.  Whether you fish with a club or just for fun, come on out and give it a shot.  Contestants are to meet at the Ten Lane Boat Ramp to sign in and will begin fishing around 5:15 PM.  Everyone must report back to the scales by 9:00 PM, where all participants are to weigh in their “big Bass”.  After the weights are tallied cash prizes will be awarded.  The number of entries will determine the number of payouts at a one for ten ratios.

                The tournaments run from March into October and advance tickets are available for seven dollars per person at: Fisherman’s Choice, 13615 N 35^TH Ave in Glendale, or at either Waterdog Willies locations: 18617 N. Cave Creek Rd in Paradise Valley and 4360 N. Olive Rd in Glendale.  If you don’t register in advance you can pay ten dollars per person at the ten-lane boat ramp the night of the event.  Fisherman can enter into the options for an additional thirteen dollars, which yield much higher payouts.

                The “Big Fish” tournaments are a low-key, fun way to spend a Wednesday or a Friday night., and any experience level from beginner to master fisher is encouraged to come spend three and a half hours on Lake Pleasant for a chance to win.
