The Arizona Game and Fish Department is offering boating education classes in the Bullhead City area.

Classes will be held at the Fox Creek Junior High. The eight-hour certified class includes instruction in boat registration requirements, Arizona and federal boating laws, equipment requirements, navigation rules, boat trailering, aids to navigation (buoys) alcohol and boating accidents, and more. Most insurance companies offer discounts on boat insurance for completing the class. This class is free. Classes are added on a regular basis. To register call Pam or Terry Kelly at 520-754-2934.

The following classes are being offered so far:

• June 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fox Creek Junior High, 3101 Desert Sky Blvd., Bullhead City. No cost.
• July 17 & 19, from 6 to 10 p.m. Fox Creek Junior High, 3101 Desert Sky Blvd., Bullhead City. No cost.
