Saturday, Feb 24 is the date for our 2001 Kids Fishing Day at Red Mountain Lake, 7800 E. Brown Rd. Mesa

  Chairperson Debbie Prestage, has done a great job in organizing this event. Several schools and Scout troops in the area have been contacted. 150 rods and reels will be given away, plus bicycles, lures, gift certificates, etc. Liberty Wildlife will have display of predator birds. Outdoor writer M.L.Anderson will be there to talk to the kids. There will be a Kids Casting  area. We hope to have several hundred kids.participate.
   Lots of activities takes lots of volunteers. Many of you have already signed up to help, but if you haven't, sign up at the next meeting or call 480-946-5975
