07/23/2001 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN. .... Genmar Holdings, Inc. and Yamaha Marine Group announced they have signed a new long-term agreement where Yamaha will supply outboard power to boat companies owned by Genmar. Under the agreement, Yamaha will supply outboard motors to 14 Genmar-owned companies, including the brands formerly owned by OMC.

Those Genmar boat companies which will offer Yamaha Outboards include: Aquasport, Crestliner, Four-Winns, Glastron, Javelin, Larson, Hydra-Sports, Triumph, Lowe, Lund, Ranger, Seaswirl, Stratos, and Wellcraft.

"At Yamaha our goal is to be a reliable source of outboard power for independent boat builders. Yamaha continues to lead the outboard industry with our technological innovation, performance, and reliability," said Phil Dyskow, president of Yamaha Marine Group.
