thanks, I knew that if you were affiliated with azod it would work out, looking forward to my first magazine d.s.
Hey, times are tough, hang in there. I would like to see your mag succeed because it is so good! Take your time, be honest, and move forward. I will reapply for a new subscription when the time comes. I am sure most subscribers will appreciate your honesty. Good Luck!
The reason for my concern is that I received an email from South Africa wanting to buy it!!
We really appreciate what you guys do up there. We have had lots of positive response from your website.//Rod
My magazine arrived in the afternoon mail, Monday 9/16/02!

To the Staff,
Congratulations on your first issue. It is beautifully done, well written and full of facts. Best of all it is written by Arizonans for Arizonans. I am enclosing a subscription form and a check. I look forward to future issues. Best of Luck, W.N.
Ken, I really like the new changes, the AZOD site is looking great! Rod
In a return email about why Issue 2 is taking so long to receive (we won't use bulk mail once we can afford first class):
Thanks for a terrific web-site, reading the second issue of AZOD and equally
impressed!John S
Thanks for a great!!!! website!!!
I was just checking out the forest fire news and stumbled into these outdoor sites. You people have
a really nice site and state I'm from the hudson valley in ulster county, new york. I hunt and fish here as well. I do most of my turkey and deer hunting in a swamp bow/shotgun no complaints.
Your site has always been great, but I am impressed with how well it is maintained and updated.
Thank your for a super job!
S. Smith
Enjoyed your site...as a former native Arizonian now living in the San Diego area,it made me homesick for the great fishing I knew "way back then"!! S E.-F.
The web-site is looking great!!!! Keep up the good work. I cant wait to see azod on the magazine shelvs. I tell everyone I know and meet about the site, If there is anything I can do just let me know. Good job.
Excellent ! Just about everything you could want for outdoor information. Keep up the great job.
It has been a real kick and pleasure working with you and getting the site up and running. You continue to do a great job. Thanks for all your help. Bill B.
I have been on a few other sites and I must tell you that I like this site the very best, not because it accommodates just Arizona hunters, because it doesn't, but because the users of this site are courteous and helpful.
The AZOD web site is awesome and I'm doing my part to spread the word. Dave E.
As always you guys are on top of your game...Everything looks good....Keep up the good work..
Good job and keep it up. Allen M (AKA: Mountainman)
You are providing a great service. If I can be of assistance, feel free to contact me, Russ T
Guys, just keep on doing what ya do best! Outdoorsman are loyal and will pass the info wordf mouth. Joe
Just writing to tell you that so far I like your training articles. Some guy wanted to learn whoa and he lived to far away for my help so I sent him to the site and read your stuff. He called me and said that it was simple to follow and the dog is coming along well. Just thought you would like to hear that you are really helping trainers.
Great Site! Since we can't all be in the outdoors all the time, it's fun to keep the outdoors on our thoughts as much as possible.
Have you considered a cooking message board? I love outdoor cooking, and a big part of all my trips is the meals. Everyone I fish and hunt with feels about the same. It would be fun to share ideas, sucesses, and failures.
Thanks!
Alex
The entire AZOD staff deserves our thanks as well for having a great
site and supporting us club folks. Howard G.
After reading your ATV article i find myself much better off than i was 5 minutes ago. I too was in a quandary of sorts regarding the best ATV for the buck but now i thing i am ready to make that decision. Thanks again for the input on this subject.
Terry H
Great job on the web site Kip, best coverage of AZ outdoors by far. NB
Hi
Terry,
Nice to hear from you. Even though I rarely do any flyfishing, I enjoy your
site. All of you do a great job. Our web page now has a new webmaster, so it
is current. If you would be willing to list it , it is http://aztec.asu.edu/ssc/
Thank you
J N
I have been visiting your site for a while now and the best thing about this
site compared to others (e.g. monstermuley.com) is that the moderators will keep the trash talkers off and keep this a true hunting and fishing site. I am very tired of hunters fighting among themselves as i often see on the other sites and so far this one has been very positive. Thanks for the hard work and all of the great information that your site
contributes to the sportsman and woman ---and kids--of this great state!Terry H
I received this e-mail from our FlyFishing Editor Terry Chia. (AZOD CEO)
I Just wanted to share with you an email I just now received that made me feel good. It's from an AZOD viewer. This makes my day and makes my involvement with AZOD well worth the effort. I guess we're all making an impact in AZ.
Here is a short version of the e-mail Terry received
Terry, I have read some of your articles on the web and was so intrigued I went out and began fly fishing. Robin asked Terry several questions and thanked him in advance. Thanks in advance, I really enjoy your writings.
Semper Gumby,
Robin
Robin also left us with this saying.
"We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm"
George Orwell
I found your article on coyotes ("Coyote- nature's opportunist") rather biased (LINK to More)
Found your site in the Hunting top 100, I try to visit as many sites as can, spent a little to much time here, need I say more about your site?? If you get a chance stop by mine " New Hampshire Whitetail " www.outdoors.at/deerfield
I wish everyone did as good a job as you do with AZOD. HG
I really want to tip my hat to the crew of the azoutdoorsman web site for doing such a great job with putting Arizona Outdoors on the web. I don't know of another web site where we can get fishing and hunting reports in this wonderful state we live in. You guys are doing a great job with this web site. Keep it up. azbasser@aol.com
My name is Bryan Y and I just wanted to let you know that I love your website. We are so very fortunate to be hunters/fisherman of Arizona. In my view, Arizona offers the second best hunting opportunities (second to Alaska) in the nation. (cut out discussion on his recent hunt)-Keep up the good work on the website......
I know for a fact that AZOD helped in setting the new elk raffle record (2001) for Az RMEF. Dan
I loved the article on dove hunting from a ladies perspective! Not only did my husband and I have a good laugh, but it also points out the distictive,(but beautiful) difference between men and women. As for me, I enjoy NOT looking like one of the guys when hunting, fishing or camping - and if you haven't ever done the HAPPY DANCE you should try it!

GREAT SITE! I have visited this site daily, and I think I have read almost everything. looking forward to seeing some more! SSG. A. G.
Thanks Linda for the article on the Outdoors Woman program on Prescott! D&K G
I found it (AZOD Site) by doing a search for
"antelope hunting in unit 18A Arizona".
Looking through the choices, I clicked in your hunting discussion board.
That was two days ago and now I can't keep off of the site! You all have
done a great job on this thing! A.G.
What a great web page AZOD has! I have changed my home page from Redrocker.com to AZOD.com. KP!
This site is excellent! I finally have a "one stop" site for ALL my
Arizona hunting and fishing information. You covered ALL the bases. I especially
enjoy your archery section. Thank you and keep up the good work. Signed

A suggestion: I linked onto your site (see below) as a result of a word search on Yahoo! I found the information VERY interesting but was frustrated because there was no date written, so I didn't know if it was current or not. May I suggest that you date your postings? T.K. Mesa (We will start doing this!)
Dear AZOD:
As I reviewed your site , I was impressed with
the quality of guides and information
that is available. In my opinion your AZ web site is fantastic. Bill W.
Dear AZOD: Mike Johnson called this morning, and told me about
your website. My name is Art Chamberlin of C & C Guide Service at
Roosevelt Lake. You have a great website, and needless to say, is now in
my favorites file. I got rained out today, but posted a report on
yesterdays trip on your fishing reports section. My website is http://www.vsps.com/info.htm.
Also, I will be doing a seminar at Waterdog Willy's Tempe store next Monday
night at 6:30 p.m. Keep up the good work. Art (Editors Note: You
can find C&C and other guide services off the approriate link in the fishing
section)
I sold the scope I had in your Classifieds, thanks to that ad! Mike
We currently are adding members weekly. Thanks, none of it would have been possible without you and the site. It is appreciated. Tucson Bass Club

I'm writing regarding your great web site Arizona Outdoorsman and the
information you provide the sportsman of Arizona.
Great idea ("Sportsman's Watch"), we need to get more sportsman involved if we are to have a future. Jerry N.
I really enjoy this website, keep up the good work.
First time javelina hunting and wanted to say thanks for the tip to look near Dugas. Two out of three of our hunting party were successful.
I just checked out the website and it looks great!!! Thanks for working with me on this.
AZOD great work. Hunting and fishing people helping each other to enjoy the Outdoors...what a great concept. Hunters & Anglers are the true Environmentalists!
Looks like your site is getting alot of clubs logged on. I sent a bunch of people over there already to check them out. Its getting to be the buzz around town here
I enjoy your site very much. I'm a regular visitor and am writing for the first time.
I just wanted to thank you for a great web site! I am fairly new to AZ and
was fortunate to find your site. I am an archery hunter and fisherman and it has
been a great help. I will soon purchase a boat and I cant wait to start catchin
fish!!
Just finished browsing your website...MAN!! been on this thing over 1 hour!! Stop it!
Hey guys the site looks great, I'll sent you more info when I can. Az Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Ken, you sure don't waste any time getting info out. Az Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
Hello, I am a active member of Tucson Bass Club and I wanted to e-mail you
to express my graditude. You have done an outstanding job with our Club's
website. Thank you for being quick on getting our latest news and events
out for our club. Your website has been a great success for our members in
Tucson Bass Club. Here at Tucons Bass, we are greatful for your
intelligent idea of making a website for individuals to view multiple bass
clubs, fishing reports, hunting and fishing events, and the federation at a
single website.
Thanks Kip for the kind words you and Ken shared at the Federation. Rick was really impressed and grateful. We have been having a great time setting up the page, fishing etc. And you guys have made it even more fun.
You have been great. I love the idea (Fishing Club Support) and like our home page. The guys that have seen it are really excited.
I've heard from Kip (Pollay, Fishing Editor) and at my suggestion, I
would be happy to have Kip's
wife (Becky) attend without registering as my thank-you for the posting
you put
about the classes (BASS University at Glendale CC) on your web site.
Our guys (Tucson Bass Club) are responding beautifully. We had 6 new members Tuesday night, 5 of whom have seen our website and like what they see about the club. At least three of the guys are now in our club due to the website It has been and is a lot of fun. I also like the red color you put on the Canyon Lake flag. Thank you for all of your help.
I'm going to be relocating to the Phoenix area at the end of the month. I
enjoyed your site, and it helped me in seeing what there is to offer in B.A.S.S.
fishing. I'm an avid BASS fisherman and a life member of B.A.S.S.
I'm not sure what area I will be living in but planning on Glendale.
Looking forward to being a long time reader of your web page. GOOD JOB.
The controversy over Ms. Chilton's appointment and confirmation as commissioner has been all over the Tucson and Phx papers. Nothing from AZOD?
Re: "Kids Corner" on AZOD. I think a "Kids Corner" on here would be worth a try. It could encourage kids/parents to submit photos and stories relating to Hunting/Fishing. Once the kid knows his story/picture is posted on here he will start telling his friends/relatives which will bring more hits to your site and perhaps encourage more articles to be submitted
TO ALL THE TEAM OF AZOD..I LOVE WHAT YOUR DOING...KEEP IT UP.
