Muzzleloader’s 101, Part 2

By now you should be on your way to buying your new muzzleloader, here are some accessories you will need to pick up. You should get the following, a nipple wrench, ball puller, cleaning jag, capper, powder measure, ball starter, speed loaders, cleaning supplies and some patches. Yes all of these items are all necessary to shoot your new rifle. I would recommend you buy some sort of box; I use a tackle box with removable trays. Make sure it is big enough to hold all your accessories plus powder and bullets. Next week I’ll go into what powder and bullets you will need plus how to work up a load that will fit your new smoke pole. Till next week keep you powder dry
