Those mean, nasty outdoorsman!

That’s right, you heard me.  The time has come.  I must come clean about  hunters and shooters.  Pressure has been building up in me and for the sake of my own preservation it must be loosed.

Here I stand, actually sitting at my Grandma’s old desk, ready to put my left hand on the Bible and swear the truth.  The stories you are about the read are true.  The names have been withheld to help protect the “hard guy” attitude we all have worked so hard to preserve.

Here are a few cases of point…

Two varmint  hunters were driving from one calling spot to another and saw a truck on the side of the road.  A woman and her daughter were sitting in the front seat, baking in the heat while the ladies’ husband walked for help.  After a quick conversation about the problem with the stranded vehicle the callers turned around, went in the other direction a few miles.  They found the gentleman walking down the road, stopped and not only gave him a ride but took him all the way back to his ranch house.  How selfish!

Several times this “other gang” of two hunters have been out and found a stolen vehicle.  Instead of shooting the snot out of large easy target these big ugly guys found license plates or vehicle ID numbers, drove back to a phone and called the Sheriff.  Time and time again these guys were treated as if they were the big time criminals by deputies.  None the less these AR-10 toting gorillas keep on doing this over and over.  Can’t we pass a law to stop these guys?

I know personally of several stories where hunters have gone out and deliberately helped another of their kind hunt, stalk, and harvest big game.  Then these madmen field dressed the animal and helped pack it out.  Even when to took several trips over nasty terrain for a couple of days or more these mule headed murderers treked on.  Relentless barbarians.

I am sorry to have to put all this in print, but as shocking as it is the truth must be told.  I don’t even dare go into the stories of hunters giving meat from their quarry to feed the hungry.  Heaven help us if I shared how many times hunters did the job of the game and forest rangers!  The humanity of it all!

Next you will be telling me that these low life people clear trails, raise funds to help kids with cancer, teach hunting ethics to people new to the outdoors, protect the second amendment, support other organizations that preserve the outdoors and donate thousands of hours each year fighting politics so you can shoot, hunt, fish and hike in Arizona.

Straight up guys, if you trim all the “FAT” away from this nation you will see that gun toting thugs (hunters) are the God fearing, heart, soul, and backbone of the United States.  Do not allow any of our heritage and rights to be stolen from us.  Please do you part in the growth of outdoor sports in Arizona.   You are the difference, not the problem!
