This
is hunting? P.S. He outshoots all of us Click
picture to enlarge Dove season is about the only time that “hunting” is leisurely. There’s very little walking. Very little physical activity, unless you have to walk out to retrieve a Dove. Many of us make the first “hunt” of the year as comfortable as we possibly can. We take lawn chairs and water coolers with us to our chosen stands. We, even enlist our kids as retrievers. Some of us just drop the tailgate on our trucks and do our “hunting” from there. Thus reducing the physical exertion even further. Let’s
face it, Dove hunting is not supposed to be a physical sport.
After all, we’ve just spent the entire summer with our butts glues to
the couch because it was just too hot to go outside.
We’ve gotten used to watching our favorite TV program, or, listening to
our favorite radio talk show.
We’re not prepared to get physical about anything but we sure don’t
want to miss that favorite talk show.
(We’d take our TV with us but the generator just weighs too much to
bother with.)
There
are some who are willing to forgo the luxuries of home for the
opportunity to experience the “call of the wild” and, then again,
there are those who are not.
Which, brings me to the attached picture.
This “hunter” (who some of you may recognize) found a way to enjoy
his favorite talk radio show(Outdoors
Arizona) and still have a leisurely Dove hunt.
The “word on the street” is that his girl friend refused to carry his
generator and portable TV to his “stand”.
