Ensenada -No report.
Cabo-Descent fishing and great weather for the most
part. Good fishing for tuna, fair action for stripped marlin and
dorado and the second best fishing for wahoo this year.
East Cape--
Good fishing for this t ime of year with an increase in stripped
marlin, black marlin, sailfish,
dorado and roosterfish over last week and last year at the same
time. Water temps were in the 82 to 88 degree range while air temps
were pleasant at 73 to 90 degrees.
Mexico Mainland:
Mazatlan --Another very good week of fishng when
you consider catching sails and dorado outside and inside for jacks,
roosterfish, permit, snapper and triggerfish. This location gets my
pick for best location to fish at in Mexico last week.
Ixtapa--Very good fishing for sailfish and dorado.
Puerto Vallarta--no report
San Carlos-No report.
Barra De Navidad-No report this week.
Cancun-No report
Acapulco-No report.
FRESH WATER MEXICO BASS FISHING
LAKE HUITES--Good fishing as per the last several
weeks with 40 fish an average for a boat per day with rattletraps
the lure of choice. 11lbs. 9oz. was the big bass for the week.
Medium runner crankbaits, and spinnerbaits also accounted for a lot
of fish.
LAKE EL SALTO--Fred Ward of El Salto Pro Bass
Adventures had a lady angler pull in a 7, 8, 10 and 11lb. bass last
week on rattletraps.
COMEDERO--No report
Bacarac-Lots of small fish--1 to 6lbs.
