Dutch Oven Cooking Classes

 

   Just in time to wow your fellow deer hunters. Learn how easy it is to cook in the great outdoors in the fashion of the pioneers.

  Glendale Parks and Recreation are offering the dutch oven class this October. Classes will start on the 7th and continue though out the month. They have five openings for this series of classes if you want to sign up. Here's the info. that you will need to get in.,,,,,
  Call:623-930-2820 to enroll. They will ask you what the class code is. The code is:#8286. The cost is $30 per person plus $2 if you don't live in Glendale. There will also be a $5 fee collected at every class for the cost of food. You will not need a dutch over. The instructor who, by the way, is a SASS member, has several that he brings. The classes are held at Thunderbird Park on Sunday afternoons at 2 until about 4 or 5 o'clock.
  They are also going to offer a class beginning on Nov. 4th that will also be on every Sunday afternoon...including Thanksgiving weekend...throughout the month. This class will be held at Saquaro Ranch Park. (that's the park that's just north of Glendale College on 59th Ave.) The cost of this class will be the same as the other one.
