Rabid Bobcat Killed

 On December 22^nd a bobcat attacked two men while they attended a family reunion at a Baptist camp in the Huachuca Mountains south if Sierra Vista. The two men were takes to Sierra Vista Regional, treated with antibiotics and released. In the mean time the cat got into a fight with a dog at the home of a nearby resident, who shot and killed the bobcat. 

 Monday reports came in from a UA veterinary lab that the bobcat was infected. Both men have since begun a series of injections to treat rabies.
