The Search For "Big Jake", the 1,000,000 Fish

Anglers everywhere will be in search of "Big Jake" during the month of July. If you haven’t heard about Jake yet, let me fill you in. Busch Beer, along with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation have released 30 tagged fish throughout 30 markets across the country. Cash prizes will be awarded to the lucky anglers who catch one of the specially tagged fish. There are 29 first prize fish worth $1,000 and one grand prize, nicknamed "Big Jake", that will bring a cool $1,000,000 to one angler. The fish were released July 1^st, and the contest runs through July 31^st. A variety of species are being used for the different markets including a largemouth bass that was released in Lake Pleasant. Anyone who catches one of the tagged fish must call 1-800-982-5643.
